Listening To Your Critics: Why Is This Suggested?
While running your business, believe it or not your close contacts are mostly watching you. Whether, it’s your close circle of family and friends or your circle of favorite customers/clients. You are mostly likely showing up on their “watchful” radars (lol). You will either hear positive or negative feed back from others.
If the feedback is positive, then you are likely to be inspired and severely appreciate the in-put. Allow the positive feedback to encourage you to do whatever it is that’s working positively in your favor, even better. Positive input is usually welcomed like a fresh breath of energizing air!
Now this brings us to the topic at hand, Critics that is. You may also discover, there are critics that you may rather pay close attention. There may be valuable lessons to learn from your critics. So, it will be of up-most importance to give a listen, when they put you or your business or blast.
Listen closely to any negative message your critics are trying to relate. Then determine the relevancy of the concern. Ask yourself, how does the negative feedback help? Does by listening and tweaking improvements help to make things better? What are the greatest “take aways” or does the feedback provide substance and value? Are there any suggestions made that can actually enhance or make my business better? How does the feedback impact me personally? Is there anyway I can provide better servicing to eliminate future concerns of the same issue. Are there alternatives or better approaches to consider? Are you getting the big pic?

So, by listening to your critics, you maybe able to really soar your business to new levels. Yes, constructive criticism which is a form of criticism that provides helpful comments or advice; May really help you to increase the value of your business or self. That’s why it’s important to listen attentively to some of your critics.
There is a niche of critics positioned to criticize your business or you personally; Aiming specifically, to spread a negative light on your business. You see, their intentions are not geared, to provide any real substance or value. They might try to deliberately shed some negative light. Unfortunately, their hopes may be to see you fail miserably.
Now these are the critics that you may want to totally stay away from. You see, they draw satisfaction from the “spotlight” and attention from others, not realizing they’re only subtracting from their very own credibility. This is sad but often times happens and can stand true. Therefore, it’s important to realize which critic is positioned to build up versus tear down.
Hopefully, this all will at least spread more awareness on how critics may or may not affect you and your business ventures. Remember, to start each day with, that of a positive mindset and great reflections. Always create time to learn more and take effective action steps. Stay encouraged and keep a persistent and determined outlook.
