But I’m going to break down my definition as I perceive this type of business. I’ll try to make the “def” short and sweet… but eventually dig deeper.

A Kingdom Business is…. An entrepreneur’s or business owner’s code of spiritual (business) ethics as it pertains to the biblical or righteous principles.

So there you have it, the exact way the spirit revealed it to me in terms of a definition. Come to think of it (again)… I must say, it’s amazing how several people have similar views, but also can present an interesting twist to the matter. let’s dig deeper…

Putting God In The Market Place

A kingdom business can also be thought of as a vessel to expose the heart of God in the market place. When you take on this type of business, you are ready to step forward and share a business spiritual principles in relation to the word of God. You have chosen to put God first and understand that all else (the blessings) shall fall into place. Therefore, you’ve made the choice to allow God to orchestrate every area of your life including the operation of your business.

Kingdom Principles

God Comes First- Understanding how crucial it is to prioritize business by putting God first. It is a beautiful feeling to give up the glory and thankfulness to God for everything. Allow the spirit to take charge at the beginning of each day. This principle helps us to realize that we can conquer each day with the help and guidance of God. It is so important to stay in the will and order of God… To give reverence to the holy word, the holy spirit and execute the power of prayer.

This verse comes to mind: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” Proverbs 3:5

Know Thy Purpose- Every kingdom business should have purpose and direction. The core purpose other than your representation as a servant of God… Should be to serve and help others by providing them with the value and solutions they are so desperately in need. If there is a market out there in dire need of what you have, that is a blessing.

This verse comes to mind: “Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.”… Proverbs 3:27. In other words when you are in a position to bless, help and serve others; Don’t hold back, do it joyfully.

Work Diligently And Keep The Faith- That is, to put forth necessary effort, be passionate and persistent (by working continuously) at any task, project or goals. Philippians 4:13 comes to mind: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”…

Sow abundantly; Reap Abundantly– It’s a given when you constantly drop effective seeds of value… That in due time you shall have a likely return. The bible backs this principle in… 2 Corinthians 9:6: “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly: and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” (kjv)

Build Wealth- Wealth in relations to the kingdom, includes many phases and means more than the accumulation of finance and material things. For instance forms of wealth may include… Having great health, mental clarity and wellness, possessing a powerful loving beautiful soul, a constant spirit of gratitude, and an abundance of value and unconditional love.

The bible states to: “Seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33

Giving Back- When you have made plentiful gains, it is a blessing to give back. If you fall into a realm to help others, it’s great to have the resources and ability to do so. It really is a blessing to be a blessing. So when you help others, it is a great show of your caring heart, love and support.

The bible states according to Luke 6:38: “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again”

Is The Market Place Ready For This?

This is a good question because depending on how you go at this. It can be rewarding or a disappointment. What do you mean disappointment? Shouldn’t the entire universe want to hear the kingdom words and biblical principles in relation to business? The answer is “No”. Not everyone wants to be in your market place when it comes to a Kingdom business, so honor and respect that and execute unconditional love, it’s powerful.

On the flip side, it may also be rewarding. Rewarding… How so? Because there is an eager niche of people out there who shares your love and interest and would more than love to fill that space in your market place. Most are actually searching for the value you have to share. There is an absolute advantage in understanding the power of a niche market place. What a blessing to behold. Yes, God is good.
